Enter the journey
The glass dome holding the universe, in the middle of the margin of the Domogs
The universe of The Jailer

MESIAS

A creator who gets bored. Creatures watching the world from their bunker. And a few who try to let go of every chain.

The universe

The play and its margins

Everything you know lives inside a dome. Around it stretches the margin of the Domogs. And above it, someone is watching.

A glass dome with galaxies inside

The dome

Matter, stars, life and every creature still bound. It is the prison, and from the inside it looks like a home.

An iron bunker with a searchlight and loudspeakers

The bunker

Each person watches the world from a guard post: a searchlight that only points outward, a loudspeaker, a judge's gavel and pipes through which everything arrives distorted.

The creator with his goggles, surrounded by spheres

The creator

He makes creatures in conflict because that is how they entertain him, and he watches them through his goggles like someone watching a show.

A Hedomog on a balcony full of flowers

Hedomogs

Every religion and everything sold to you as goodness: gardens, temples, music, a purpose. They do not attack. They invite.

A Demorg among ruins

Demorgs

The demons of every religion. They mistake the attention the creator gives humans for love, and they never forgive it. They hunt whoever tries to leave.

A Murdog in red armor walking toward the dome

Murdogs

Those who let go of the five prisons: body, story, family, morals and name. They cross the margin without getting hooked again.

A Murdog at the edge of the cliff under auroras

The Threshold

A cliff above a void of antimatter. Whoever jumps disappears, and an aurora is left in the sky.

Inside a bunker: a throne, a searchlight and a wide window onto a neighborhood street
The bunker

“From the inside, the prison looks like a home.”

Behind every pair of eyes there is a throne, a searchlight and a loudspeaker. From there one gives opinions, advice and verdicts, and the world always arrives through the same frame. The journey takes you inside one.

The novel

The Jailer

A girl draws flowers while, somewhere in the house, a door closes. Years later that same girl wakes at three in the morning with a question that has no name, and follows it to a manuscript that explains why the world was made this way.

“I made them like this because this way they are entertaining.”
